Lotus Wood Table

Upon embarking on this project, my aim was twofold: to infuse a piece of my identity and to hone my woodworking skills. The result? A captivating table adorned with the delicate engraving of a lotus flower, seamlessly blending form and function. Its design exudes fluidity, yet beneath its graceful exterior lies a sturdy and stable foundation.

Growing up, a cornerstone of my family life was the nightly ritual of gathering around the dinner table, followed by lively rounds of cards or other interactive games. This cherished tradition inspired me to craft more than just a table; I aimed to create an immersive experience. With this table, users can not only dine but also slide into one of the four slots seamlessly integrated into its structure, fostering closeness and interaction reminiscent of those cherished family moments.
